The Department of Laboratory Medicine's main task is to perform and interpret tests related to disease diagnosis, observation of course, treatment, and prognosis using specimens such as blood, urine, stool, body fluids, and tissues collected from patients.
The Laboratory Medicine Department at Incheon Veterans Hospital is composed of six specialized sections—Diagnostic Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Diagnostic Immunology, Blood Bank, Emergency and Urine Testing, and Phlebotomy—to perform various testing operations at Incheon Veterans Hospital. We provide accurate and rapid test results through comprehensive quality management of the entire testing process, from test selection and ordering to specimen collection, handling, analysis, interpretation, and results management.
