    In-Person Appointments

    Visit the registration desk at the Patient Administration Office ⤑ Submit related documents, such as Health Insurance Card, Medical Care Card, Referral Letters, and Veteran ID Card ⤑ Receive the appointment confirmation slip ⤑ Return home ⤑ Visit on the appointment date

    Phone Appointments
    • Call the VHS Incheon Hospital Phone Appointments Room (+82-32-363-9800) → Make an appointment → Visit on the appointment date
    • Outpatient consultations are available by appointment only. Please make an appointment in advance before visiting the hospital.
    • If you visit the hospital without an appointment, you may not be able to receive a consultation. Even if consultations are available, waiting times may be considerably longer.
  • STEP02Visit on the Appointment Date

    Please pay the registration fee at the Patient Administration Office on your appointment date, and then proceed to the corresponding medical department.

    Persons of distinguished service to the state, or those who have made an in-person appointment and completed the registration payment, may proceed directly to the corresponding medical department as scheduled.

    Documents Required Upon Visit
    • Please visit the hospital with a health insurance card (or medical care card) and a Veteran ID Card on your appointment date.
    • A VHS Hospital is a secondary-level integrated medical institution under the medical services delivery system. To receive medical benefits, Type 1 or Type 2 recipients must bring a referral letter from a primary hospital, such as a local clinic, doctor’s office, or public health center, on the day of their first appointment.
    • Bereaved family members of a person of distinguished service to the state must bring the certificate of distinguished service to the state and related documents verifying family relationship (such as a family relation certificate or a resident registration certificate, and proof of eligibility for medical expense reduction issued by a branch of Veterans Affairs having jurisdiction over his/her residence) on the day of their first appointment.
      However, if the information is available through the electronic system, you don’t need to submit any additional documents.
  • STEP03Outpatient Registration and Payment
    • Pay the registration fee at the Patient Administration desk (or unmanned payment machine)

    • Receive a consultation at the corresponding medical department

    • Pay your bill at the Patient Administration desk

    • Receive various medical examinations

    If you have paid the registration fee in advance, you do not need to stop by the Patient Administration desk. Please go directly to the corresponding medical department for your consultation and then return to the Patient Administration desk afterward.

    • Receive outpatient consultation

    • Pay your bill at the payment desk of the Patient Administration Office

    • Receive blood collection and other examinations on the same day (appointment for examinations)

    • Return home

    • Visit on your next appointment date

    Return Home After Prescription

    Government-Funded Patients

    • Make an appointment

    • Visit the outpatient department on the appointment date to receive consultation

    • Receive prescribed medicine at the outpatient pharmacy

    • Return home

    • Visit on your next appointment date

    Self-Paying Patients

    • Make an appointment

    • Visit on the appointment date

    • Pay your bill at the payment desk of the Patient Administration Office 2

    • Receive outpatient consultation

    • Pay your bill at the payment desk of the Patient Administration Office 2, then receive a prescription for an outside pharmacy

    • Return home

    • Visit on your next appointment date

    When paying your medical fees (issuing a prescription for an outside pharmacy) or the medical examination fee, using the unmanned payment machines makes the process more convenient and saves time.

    Government-funded patients do not need to visit the Patient Administration desk, as the outpatient department will issue both the receipt for the consultation and the next appointment confirmation slip.
