The Emergency Room at Gwangju Veterans Hospital provides rapid and accurate initial-stage care upon the occurrence of emergencies in Gwangju and the Jeonnam/Jeonbuk regions, preserving the lives of emergency patients and engaging in efficient treatment through coordination with other medical specialties for the next stage of care. The current emergency room has 20 beds, securing ample space for efficient treatment and a layout designed for patient convenience. We operate a 24-hour treatment system to provide high-quality care to emergency patients, utilizing the latest medical equipment necessary for patient care, as well as an ambulance service.
