Integrated Nursing Care Service Ward
The Integrated Nursing Care Service provides 24-hour high-quality inpatient nursing care by dedicated nursing staff, without the need for privately hired caregivers or family guardians to stay with the patient.
Admission Eligibility
- Acute care patients who are subscribers or dependents under the National Health Insurance Act or the Medical Benefit Act, and who have consented to admission to an Integrated Nursing Care Service ward
- Emergency patients requiring urgent surgery or procedures are given priority for admission
- The attending physician determines admission and discharge eligibility based on the patient’s condition.
Admission Exclusions
- Critically ill patients requiring intensive care unit (ICU) treatment
- Patients requiring isolation due to infectious diseases
- Patients with underlying psychiatric conditions (e.g., history of suicide attempts, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder)
- Patients with severe delirium, advanced dementia, or altered consciousness posing safety concerns
- Other patients deemed unsuitable for ward admission by the medical team
