  • Appointed hospice care physician and physician assistants
  • Designated a room for end-of-life care and formed a hospice team to provide multidisciplinary, decentralized care
  • Introduced care for persons of distinguished service to the state and terminally ill patients in the local community
  • Began providing continuous services through home nursing upon patient discharge
2005
  • Group membership in the Korean Hospice Association
  • Signed an agreement with the “Love Hospice C.C.C.” (Volunteer Training Institution)
2006
  • Group membership in the Korean Catholic Hospice Association
2010
  • Designated one hospice ward (4-bed room) for hospice care
  • Expansion of services through hospice and palliative care education and various programs
  • Hosted hospice and palliative care campaigns and charity bazaars for hospice beneficiaries
2015
  • Approved and designated as a specialized palliative care institution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare
2016
  • Held an opening ceremony and began operation of a palliative care ward with 29 beds
2017
  • Implemented the Palliative Care Assistant System (start of caregiving service)
2019
  • Launched the Home Hospice Pilot Project (from Mar. 1, 2019)
