About the VHS Gwangju Hospital

  • We provide government-funded medical services for persons of distinguished service to the state, including patriots and disabled veterans, and discounted medical care for their bereaved families and war veterans.
  • We are dedicated to examinations and treatment for defoliant–related conditions and aftereffects, as well as to supporting the medical and psychological rehabilitation of severely injured veterans.
  • We are committed to supplying and repairing prosthetic devices to support physical function and to contributing to the improvement of public health among the local community.

  • Jun. 18, 2025 Achieved 400 cases of Da Vinci robotic prostate surgery
  • May 23, 2025 Designated as an Advance Directive Registration Institution
