The Daejeon Veterans Hospital Emergency Medicine Department is dedicated to efficient medical care by preserving the lives of emergency patients through rapid and accurate initial treatment for emergencies occurring in the Daejeon area, and by coordinating with other medical fields for subsequent stages of care. The current Emergency Medicine Department has secured sufficient emergency care space with 13 beds, and features an internal structure designed for efficient treatment and patient convenience. In addition, we operate a 24-hour medical system with three resident physicians on duty, utilizing the latest medical equipment necessary for patient care as well as ambulances, to provide high-quality treatment to emergency patients.
