What Is a Donation?
To assist patients struggling with medical expenses, the Social Work Office at the VHS Daejeon Hospital raises social welfare funds to support the cost of treatment.
- Eligibility for Support from the VHS Daejeon Hospital Social Welfare Fund
- When medical expense support through external resources is not available,
- the patient’s property and income meet the government’s low-income criteria, and
- the patient has no financial support from children or family members.
- Criteria for Support from the VHS Daejeon Hospital Social Welfare Fund
- Support is available for small medical expenses up to 500,000 KRW when assistance from external resources is not possible.
Medical equipment, assistive devices, and consumable supplies are not eligible for support.
