    Phone Reservations
    • Call the VHS Daejeon Hospital Appointment Office (+82-42-939-0114) ⤑ Make your appointment ⤑ Visit the hospital on your scheduled appointment date
    • Outpatient consultations are available by appointment only, so please make your reservation in advance before visiting the hospital.
    • If you visit without an appointment, you may not be able to receive treatment, and even if treatment is available, the waiting time may be significantly longer.
  • STEP 02Visit on the scheduled date

    On your appointment day, please visit the patient services desk to pay the registration fee, then go to your clinic.

    Veterans and patients who have already paid the registration fee through in-person reservations may go directly to the designated department at their scheduled time.

    Required Documents
    • On your scheduled appointment date, please bring your health insurance card (or medical benefit card) and Veterans ID card.
    • As a secondary general care institution within the national medical referral system, patients with Type 1 or Type 2 medical benefit coverage must submit a referral letter issued by a primary care institution (local clinic or public health center) on the day of their first visit to receive medical benefits.
    • Family members of veterans must bring the veteran’s ID card and supporting documents proving their relationship (Family Relationship Certificate, Resident Registration Certificate, or a Certificate of Eligibility for Medical Fee Reduction issued by the local Veterans Affairs Office) when visiting for the first time.
      However, if verification can be completed electronically, additional document submission is not required.
  • STEP 03Outpatient Registration and Payment
    • Pay the registration fee at the patient services desk or use the self-service kiosk.

    If you’ve already prepaid for your visit, you can go straight to your clinic without checking in at the Patient Services Counter. After your appointment, please stop by the counter to finish your payment.

    For patients covered by national medical benefits, the receipt and follow-up appointment slip are issued at the outpatient clinic after consultation, so visiting the patient services desk is not required.
