Hello!
I am Kim Shin-yoon, Director of the VHS Daegu Hospital.

The VHS Daegu Hospital opened in February 1993, equipped with advanced medical facilities and an excellent team of medical professionals, to promote the physical and mental rehabilitation of persons of distinguished service to the state, their bereaved families, and disabled veterans residing in the Daegu–Gyeongbuk region.

Since its opening, as a community-based hospital, we have concentrated our capabilities on enhancing public health and contributing to regional development.

We are currently maximizing our core functions of medical treatment, education, and research, and striving to provide more systematic, patient-centered care through specialized clinical systems.

I once again take on this role with a commitment to fulfill the national agenda of “First-Class Veterans Care — Responsibility of the State to the End” and to meet the growing social demand for “Community-Based Personalized Medical Services.”

Furthermore, all our staff members will dedicate their utmost passion and sincerity to make the VHS Daegu Hospital a more beloved institution, promising to provide high-quality medical care for persons of distinguished service to the state and to promote the health and well-being of local residents in a pleasant medical environment.
