The Department of Nephrology operates an artificial kidney unit and a peritoneal dialysis unit to treat patients with chronic kidney failure and acute kidney failure caused by glomerulonephritis, diabetic nephropathy, and hypertensive nephropathy.

2. Artificial Kidney Unit
- More than 100 dialysis patients undergo over 13,000 cases of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis annually.
- The dialysis unit operates separate machines for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, and also has isolation rooms.
- On-line HDF is also performed for long-term dialysis patients.
