What Is Medical Expense Support?
Provides financial assistance for patients who have difficulty paying medical bills.

Support Methods
- External Resource Linkage Support : Connection with external organizations such as city, county, or district offices; Community Chest of Korea; and other social welfare organizations.
- Social Welfare Fund Support : Assistance provided through the hospital’s social welfare fund, which is financed by staff donations.
- Eligible Recipients : Recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security Program, medical benefit recipients under the second-lowest income bracket, and other low-income patients.

Scope of Support
- External Resource Linkage : The amount and coverage depend on the policies of each supporting organization.
- Social Welfare Fund : Inpatient medical expenses supported up to KRW 1,000,000.
