  • Wartime Veterans
    Discount Rate : 90% reduction on the patient’s share of medical expenses

    Persons defined under Article 2(2) of the Act on the Honorable Treatment and Establishment of the Veterans Association for Participants in War

  • Families of Deceased or Missing Special Mission Personnel, and Contributors or Their Families
    Discount Rate : 60% reduction on the patient’s share of medical expenses

    Eligible under Articles 3(3) and 4 of the Act on Support for Persons Performing Special Missions and the Establishment of Related Organizations.

  • Group Treatment Agreements
    Discount Rate : 30% reduction on the patient’s share of medical expenses

    Applicable to firefighters, police officers (including retired), coast guard personnel, and active military service members (with official ID or military service ID).

  • Scope of Family Members: Parents, spouse, children (including grandchildren for independence activists), and daughters-in-law (eligible only for registrations before July 1, 2009; ineligible thereafter).
  • Exclusions for Family Members: For founding soldiers, long-term discharged soldiers, and wartime veterans, only the individual is eligible for the reduction — family members are not included.
  • Items Excluded from Reduction: Certificate fees, medical material costs, dental prosthetics, assistive devices, and higher-grade hospital room charges.
  • Reduced-fee medical benefits are available only after registration with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
