  1. 01Present your Veteran’s Certificate or ID card at the Administration Department 2 reception desk.
  2. 02Wait near the designated department; a nurse will call you for your consultation with the assigned doctor.
  3. 03If you have a phone or return appointment, proceed directly to the designated department without separate registration.
  4. 04Receive a treatment guide after your consultation.
  5. 05Follow the instructions for injections, imaging, or tests; collect any prescribed medications from the in-house pharmacy.
  6. 06You may then return home.

Outpatient Procedure for Discounted and General Patients

Same-day Registration, Telephone and Internet Reservation, Follow-Up Appointment → Registration [Administration Office] → Doctor’s Consultation [Department] → Payment and Prescription Issuance [Administration Office] → General Information Desk, Testing and Injection Rooms, Pharmacy (In-house/Outside) → Departure (Return Home)

  1. 01 For same-day visits, take a queue number at the reception counter and present your ID for registration in order.

    Patients with prior appointment or test reservations may register directly using a kiosk or at the reception counter without waiting.

    As VHS Busan Hospital is a secondary general care institution, recipients of medical aid (Type 1 or 2) must present a referral letter from a primary care provider (local clinic or public th center) to receive medical aid benefits.

    Families of persons of distinguished service to the state must bring supporting documents (Family Relations Certificate, Resident Registration Copy, or Verification Letter of Fee Reduction Eligibility issued by the Veterans Affairs Office) for their first visit.
    If verification is possible electronically, no additional documents are required.

  2. 02 Proceed to the designated department for consultation with guidance from the nurse.
  3. 03 After the consultation, take a queue number at the reception counter, pay the consultation fee, and receive your prescription.

    Tests requiring appointments such as MRI, CT, or endoscopy are not prepaid.

  4. 04 For injection or test prescriptions, proceed to the General Information Desk or respective testing room for further instructions.
  5. 05 Patients with outside prescriptions can purchase medications at nearby pharmacies.

Due to the Personal Information Protection Act, please present your ID and relevant documents at registration.

If the patient’s sibling makes the request, documentation proving that the patient’s spouse, direct ascendants or descendants, and the spouse’s ascendants do not exist must be provided.
