The VHS Busan Hospital, the central general medical institution for the Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Jeju regions, has continued to grow since its opening in 1984, relocation and expansion to the current location in Sasang-gu, Jurye 2-dong in May 1992, and completion of the Rehabilitation Center in May 2022—dedicated to the care of persons of distinguished service to the state and local residents.
Through steady effort, the hospital now operates three centers, seven specialized internal-medicine divisions, twenty departments, and 475 beds.

In March 2024, a new 180-bed long-term-care hospital with state-of-the-art facilities opened and began full operation.
We will build a patient-centered, convenient, and smart hospital providing customized one-stop services from acute care to rehabilitation and long-term care.

Our professional medical staff treat every patient like family, serve the community’s health needs, and strive to make our hospital a true cultural space.
