Departments Guide

Nuclear Medicine

"The start of personalized treatment."

About the Department

The Nuclear Medicine Department diagnoses and treats diseases using radioactive isotopes. A very small amount of radioactive material is administered to the patient, and imaging its distribution in specific organs or tissues allows for accurate detection and assessment of disease presence and progression. We also perform precise measurements of trace substances in blood and other bodily fluids, aiding in early disease detection. Nuclear medicine is also directly used in the treatment of certain conditions, such as thyroid cancer.

Medical Services

Equipped with PET-CT, SPECT-CT, SPECT gamma cameras, and gamma counters, we support the early diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, including tumors, brain disorders, heart disease, endocrine disorders, and kidney disease.
