About the Department

The VHS Medical Center’s Emergency Medicine Department provides rapid and professional emergency care for veterans and local residents, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Through a multidisciplinary collaboration system, we deliver prompt diagnosis and treatment for trauma, critical illnesses, and acute conditions, prioritizing patients’ lives and health above all else. From emergency room visits to inpatient care and ICU coordination, our highly trained medical team and state-of-the-art equipment ensure comprehensive and streamlined management.

Medical Services

  • Trauma and Accident Care

    Rapid treatment and preoperative coordination for acute trauma patients, including traffic accidents, falls, and fractures.

  • First Aid for Acute Diseases

    Prompt diagnosis and emergency treatment for life-threatening acute conditions such as myocardial infarction, stroke, respiratory distress, and shock.

  • Emergency Critical and Intensive Care

    Intensive care for severe infections, sepsis, and multiple organ failure in coordination with the ICU.
