About the Department

The Department of Radiology uses advanced imaging techniques to diagnose a wide range of diseases and performs image-guided biopsies as well as non-surgical therapeutic procedures. We are involved throughout the full continuum of patient care—from clinical consultation and collaboration with other departments to post-procedure management following interventional treatments.
Our department is subspecialized into thoracic, abdominal, genitourinary, neuro/head & neck, musculoskeletal, and interventional radiology, with dedicated radiologists providing expert diagnosis and treatment in each field.
At the VHS Medical Center, radiologists, residents, radiologic technologists, nurses, and administrative staff work together to deliver a patient-centered and reliable diagnostic environment. We will continue to provide compassionate, high-quality medical services.

Medical Services

Diagnostic imaging including digital X-ray, CT, ultrasound, and MRI
Image-guided tissue biopsies and breast mass biopsy/treatment (Mammotome)
Interventional procedures including hepatic tumor embolization, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and more
Angiography and a full range of vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures
