About the Department

Since its establishment in 1977, the Ophthalmology Department at VHS Medical Center has been dedicated to diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions, including cataract, glaucoma, and retinal diseases. To protect the vision of veterans and local residents and enhance their quality of life, we operate subspecialty-based clinics—including the Cataract & Glaucoma Clinic, Strabismus & Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinic, Oculoplastic Clinic, and Retina & Vitreous Clinic. Our experienced specialists and advanced diagnostic equipment enable accurate assessments and patient-tailored treatments.
