The Preventive Medicine Department at VHS Medical Center is responsible for comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations, national health screenings, and the issuance of various health certificates. From issuing reliable, official medical certificates to conducting National Health Insurance Service screenings, we provide accurate and timely diagnostic services that support the health and well-being of our patients.

• Employment physical examination certificates

  For civil servants (excluding urine drug tests), job applicants, school admission, and other employment purposes

• Medical certificates for license application (including urine drug tests and personality assessments)
• General health certificates
• Firearm and blade possession physical examinations (excluding personality assessments)
• English-language health certificates
• Seafarer health examinations (specialized physical assessment)
• Driver’s license physical examinations

  Required for aptitude test: Driver’s license, two recent ID photos (3.5 cm × 4.5 cm, taken within the last 6 months)

  Requirements for application: ID card, three recent ID photos matching the above specifications

  Individuals with color vision deficiency must complete the aptitude test at the driver’s license examination center.

• Health examination certificate for international marriage (Korean ver.)
• National Health Insurance Corporation health screenings for eligible enrollees

  Screening items: General screening (blood tests, urine tests, chest X-ray), oral examination, cervical cancer screening

  Unavailable items: Stomach cancer (endoscopy), colorectal cancer (stool test/colonoscopy), breast cancer, liver cancer (ultrasound)
