  • STEP 01Visit the Administration Desk
    Hospital Visit Reservation

    Visit the administration desk → Submit ID (e.g., National Merit Certificate, Mobile Health Insurance Card, Driver’s License, Passport, etc.) and related documents (referral, etc.) → Receive appointment slip → Return home → Visit on the reserved appointment date

    Call the VHS Medical Center Appointment Center at +82 (2) 2225-123→ Schedule an appointment → Visit on the reserved appointment date

    Outpatient treatment is based on an appointment system, so please make a prior appointment before your visit.

    If you come without a reservation, you may not be able to receive treatment, and even if treatment is available, the waiting time may be significantly long.

    Mobile App Reservation

    Reservation/Inquiry → Outpatient appointment → Select department and doctor → Choose appointment date → Request appointment → Confirm reservation

    Dates highlighted in blue (■) are available for reservation.

    A patient registration number must be registered before making a reservation.

  • STEP 02Visit on Appointment Day

    On your appointment date, please visit the administration office to pay the registration fee before proceeding to your designated clinic.

    If you are registered for the Medical Fee Hi-Pass service, you may go directly to the clinic at your appointment time.

    Documents to Prepare
    • Please bring valid identification (such as a national merit card, mobile health insurance card, driver’s license, or passport) on your appointment date.
    • As the VHS Medical Center functions as a secondary general care institution in the medical delivery system, recipients of Medical Aid Type 1 or 2 must submit a referral letter issued by a primary care provider (local clinic or public health center) on the day of their first visit to receive medical aid benefits.
    • Family members of national merit recipients must bring both the merit recipient’s card and documents proving their family relationship (family relation certificate or resident registration copy) or a certificate of eligibility for medical expense discount issued by the local veterans affairs office.
      If verification is possible through the hospital’s computing system, no additional documents are needed.
  • STEP 03Outpatient Registration and Payment

    Pay the registration fee at the administration desk (or via unmanned payment kiosk) → Proceed to the clinic for consultation → Pay any additional fees at the administration desk → Undergo any necessary tests.

    If you are registered for the Medical Fee Hi-Pass service, you may go directly to the clinic at your appointment time.

  • STEP 04Appointment Scheduling
    Going Home after Consultation

    Appointment → Visit on scheduled date → Payment at administration desk → Consultation → Payment → Blood test or same-day examination (if any) → Go home → Return on next appointment date

    Going Home after Prescription
    • Government-funded patients : Appointment → Visit and consultation → Pick up medication at the outpatient pharmacy → Go home → Return on next appointment date
    • Self-paying patients : Appointment → Visit → Payment at Administration Dept. 2 → Consultation → Payment and receive external prescription → Go home → Return on next appointment date

      For quick and convenient payment of consultation or test fees (including external prescriptions), you may use the unmanned payment kiosks.

    If Hospitalization Is Required

    Appointment → Visit on scheduled date → Payment at administration desk → Consultation → Admission decision → Payment → Receive admission confirmation at the inpatient administration desk → Go home → Return on admission date → Treatment → Discharge

    Government-funded patients will receive their receipt and follow-up appointment slip directly from the clinic and do not need to revisit the administration office.
