Volunteering refers to the act of individuals or groups offering their time and effort voluntarily — without financial compensation — for the benefit of others and the community.

Significance of Volunteering

Social Aspects
  • Practicing the spirit of sharing and promoting awareness of veterans’ honor by supporting national merit recipients and their families
  • Expanding hospital services and convenience for hospital visitors
  • Complementing human and material resource limitations and contributing to community development

  • Utilizing leisure time meaningfully and enhancing personal skills
  • Promoting maturity, fulfillment, and self-realization
  • Fostering a sense of belonging and pride through cooperation toward shared goals

Volunteer Recruitment

  • Recruitment Period: Ongoing, year-round
  • How to Apply: Via the 1365 Volunteer Portal recruitment postings by phone or in-person application; through personal introductions

Volunteer Activity Hours

  • Regular Volunteering: Once a week, 3 hours per session
  • Morning Shift: 9:00 am –12:00 pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
