Support for patients who have difficulty paying for the medical expenses required for treatment

How We Support
- External Resource Linkage Support: Connection with local government offices (city, county, or district), the Community Chest of Korea, various social welfare organizations, and private foundations
- Internal Fund Support: For small medical expenses that cannot be supported through external resources, assistance is provided using donations collected in the hospital’s own social welfare fund
Eligible Recipients: Basic Livelihood Security beneficiaries, the near-poverty class, and other low-income individuals
Scope of Support
- External Resource Linkage Support: Criteria and amounts vary by supporting institution
- Internal Fund Support: Small-scale medical expenses up to KRW 1 million.
  Costs for medical equipment and other consumable supplies are not covered.
