For inpatients and their families, we provide counseling on psychosocial, emotional, and financial challenges and offer programs to help ensure a comfortable and positive hospital experience.

Visitor Information

    • Request a social work consultation through medical staff or nurses

Counseling

Psychological and Social Counseling
  • Guidance on in-hospital social work programs to ensure a comfortable stay during hospitalization
  • Counseling for anxiety and stress related to treatment
  • Support for psychological and social difficulties experienced by patients and families due to illness
  • Assistance with family-related issues
  • Crisis counseling: Cases involving abuse, neglect, or abandonment
Rehabilitation Counseling
  • Counseling on social reintegration, social adaptation, and daily life activities for patients
  • Counseling on vocational education, returning to work, and employment-related matters
  • Guidance on disability registration and services for people with disabilities
  • Counseling on psychological rehabilitation and information on rehabilitation training
Discharge Counseling
  • Counseling on patient care plans after discharge
  • Counseling on post-discharge living arrangements and caregiving issues
  • Providing information about discharge procedures
  • Counseling on readmission and future treatment plans
Resource Referral Counseling
  • Provide information on available local hospitals
  • Guidance on geriatric hospitals, long-term care, and rehabilitation hospitals
  • Information on community welfare centers, social welfare facilities, long-term care facilities, home-based welfare services, and various social welfare programs
  • Linkage with public agencies under the Basic Livelihood Security Program
  • Guidance on long-term care insurance for the elderly (care grades, available facilities, types of services, etc.)
  • Information on veterans’ welfare programs for the elderly

Programs for Inpatients

Various recreational therapies are provided for patients with geriatric conditions such as dementia, stroke, and cerebrovascular disease, as well as those experiencing cognitive impairments or psychological anxiety due to depression. These programs also aim to enhance patients’ social adaptability, emotional stability, and vitality, helping to alleviate symptoms and support a faster return to society.
