- Used for aesthetic purposes.
- Simple in structure and lighter than the functional type.

Electric Type
- Used for functional purposes.
- Operates the wrist joint and prosthetic hand using a battery, microelectrode switches, and electric motors.
- More expensive and heavier compared to the cosmetic type.
