Purpose

• To support the research activities of researchers affiliated with the VHS Medical Center, laboratory benches and necessary spaces in the central laboratory will be allocated.

Allocation Details

• Laboratory benches: approximately 20 units (W180 x L75 x H80 cm)
• Shared space
  • Researcher room: based on 3.3m2
  • Ultra-low temperature freezer: based on 1 storage box (W13.2 x L13.2 x H5.2 cm)
  • Liquid nitrogen freezer: based on 1 storage box (W13.2 x L13.2 x H5.2 cm)
  • Other space (equipment such as refrigerator): based on 3.3m2

Eligibility to Apply

• Researchers affiliated with the VHS Medical Center
• Researchers approved as affiliated researchers from joint research institutions of the VHS Medical Center

Application Period and Documentation

• Allocation announcement: every November (regular) or ongoing
• Application Deadline: by early December each year
• Notification of results: Notification of allocated recipients confirmed through review in December

  • 1 copy of the research space allocation application form
  • 1 copy of the research plan (including research achievements, funding for the principal investigator over the past 3 years, research outputs, and status of resident researchers)
