01 Establishment of Regional Public Health Care Plans in Collaboration with Local Governments
- Based on regional hospice and palliative care data provided by the National Hospice Center, the center collaborates closely with local governments to develop regional public health care plans
- Including strategies to improve hospice service utilization and self-sufficiency rates, as well as plans for hospice awareness and education
02 Advisory Activities for Hospice Policy and Education Committees
- Participation in policy, education, and evaluation committees to help establish effective hospice service delivery models in Korea
03 Operation of On-Site Education Teams for Hospice Institutions
- Consultation and education for new or underperforming institutions identified through evaluations
- On-site education teams consist of field experts in hospice operations, counseling, social welfare services, and medical care, aiming to enhance hospice service quality at participating institutions
04 Development and Implementation of Burnout Prevention Programs for Hospice Professionals to Prevent Burnouts and Enhance Work Efficiency
- Conducting programs designed to motivate and support hospice professionals within the region, promoting well-being and work efficiency
05 Regular Meetings of Regional Hospice and Palliative Care Institution Representatives
- A communication forum for representatives of hospice and palliative care institutions to discuss key issues, share insights, and exchange ideas to improve service quality within the region
06 Establishment of a Regional Information Exchange Network
- An information-sharing network among hospice institutions to communicate updates on bed availability, institutional news, and upcoming events organized by the Regional Hospice Center
07 Hospice Research Projects
- Participation in collaborative research with the National and Regional Hospice Centers
- Active engagement in multi-institutional studies aimed at improving hospice care systems and service delivery models
