I am Lee Jun-yong, Director of the Regional Hospice Center at the VHS Medical Center.

The Regional Hospice Center at the VHS Medical Center was designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in December 2017. Since then, we have been striving to provide high-quality hospice services by promoting hospice and palliative care programs aimed at the systematic delivery and continuous improvement of hospice and palliative care.

In addition, we are building a network among hospice and palliative care institutions within the region, developing promotional content to raise public awareness of hospice and palliative care, and offering educational programs to train specialized hospice and palliative care professionals.

Going forward, the Regional Hospice Center at the VHS Medical Center will continue to lead the advancement of hospice and palliative care. Building on our accumulated experience, we will strive to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families through a balanced approach to education, outreach, support, and research.
